Set on the first floor of the historic Oude Dekenij in the heart of Kortrijk, Chambres d’Amis is an intimate à-la-carte restaurant where the art of good cooking is at the heart of the experience.
In the kitchen, Matthieu Beudaert draws on French and Italian culinary traditions, guided by the seasons. His son and sommelier, Jef Beudaert, curates a wine list bringing together established estates and a new generation of winemakers.
At Chambres d’Amis, there are no tasting menus. Instead, you have the freedom to choose what you feel like, and to dine at your own pace. The menu follows the seasons and the best produce available, bringing together new creations and dishes that have shaped our chef’s culinary journey.
At Chambres d’Amis, there are several ways to enjoy a more private setting or organise a special occasion.
The private dining room welcomes 6 to 14 guests. For larger groups, Chambres d’Amis can be reserved in its entirety, accommodating up to 36 guests for a seated meal and around 60 for a reception.
Chef Matthieu Beudaert also creates dinners in distinctive locations, often chosen for their connection to art, architecture or the character of the place itself. Previous projects have taken place at the KMSKA, Museum Dhondt-Dhaenens and Woning Wassenhove.
